Summer is still a few months away here in the Northeast but I am already making plans for what I want to work on to enhance my outdoor living. One thing I will be doing is replacing the outdoor carpet that currently covers the outdoor patio. Or my backyard porch I suppose it should be called. The porch is easily accessed by a sliding glass door from the dining room and the home roof was designed to incorporate this large porch into the roofing design so I have a nice leak proof roof already in place. I am considering laying tile instead of carpet on the porch but this will become very slick when wet so I'm not certain about this. I will also be spending a few hours in the workshop building outdoor furniture to replace the patio table and chairs I currently have. I will build a long, wide butcher block style patio table with matching benches. The if I add a couple chaise loungers and a nice porch swing my outdoor living furniture will be complete.
