outdoor living, outdoor patio

Outdoor living is what I need to wind down from a long week of work. Driving out to the country and setting up my camping tent for a weekend of hiking, fishing and what ever else I can get into is heaven to me. Last year I made some custom outdoor patio furniture that still decorates my patio. My neighbor told me that it is the most beautiful outdoor furniture he has ever beheld. A little sanding, staining and lacquering and the end result looks absolutely beautiful!.

I was exploring up by Podo Mountain, when I found this very interesting cave. I strapped on my head light and entered the cave. The entrance was not very remarkable, and I have to say that disappointment started creeping in. I was about a hundred feet into the cave when I noticed some writing on the walls. I could not read it, but I could make out what appeared to be horses and deer. There were some clay pots and miscellaneous other artifacts strewn about the end of the cave, which gave it a feel like someone was still living there. I entered the location on my GPS unit, took some pictures and headed back to camp.

I sent copies of the pictures to several museums and historical societies. Hopefully one of them would like to examine that cave in more detail. I sure hope so.
