caravaning camping


My family and I especially like the outdoors and caravaning camping. We have friends who are of the like mind and we take several trips a year together. These families and ours get along real well. We all have kids ranging close in age and they keep each other entertained so the parents can spend some quality relaxation time during these outings.

Caravaning camping is a blast. Each family loads up there outdoor gear, food and quads in their toy haulers. We all meet at a local grocery store parking lot. Then the caravaning camping trip begins. My husband tends to be the leader of the pack as he is very good with directions and finding interesting short cuts or small towns to visit along the way. We makes stops for restroom breaks and lunch before ending up at our destination.

After a break we line up again in order and continue on our caravaning camping adventure. Once we get into camp everyone unloads their quads and sets up their spots. I like to have a table outside with a lantern, a mat to cover some space in front of the toy hauler and comfortable lawn chairs. It doesn't take long to prepare our spots and begin a weekend of rest and relaxation!
