When my kids were younger, we used to love to go caravaning camping. It was so much fun to gather our friends and their families, about 4 families, and all drive up together at our chosen spot. We had to make reservations at the camping sites, so our spots were ready for us. Once there, caravaning camping activities would begin. The kids wanted to rush out and go to the lake or play games. We had to corral them in until all the camping tents were up and all the caravaning camping gear was out of the vans. From there, it was time to hit the lake to fish or further down to swim. It makes sense to go caravaning camping because the cooking, games and watching the kids is all shared. At night, we were all tuckered out, and would sit by the campfire, make some s’mores and talk while the kids played cards or other board games. My own kids still talk about those fun times with the other families. Those were great get-a-aways and I would recommend caravaning camping to everyone.
